Bad Subsurface Material in Blender using Lite

Whenever I import a model from mecabricks into Blender and render with cycles using the lite addon, there is way too much subsurface and transmission, making the bricks look weird. https://imgur.com/a/J9LhsXy

Notice the gradient shading around the edges.

Do not scale down the model as per the add-on recommendations.
