snap to stud

there should be a snap to stud feature where if a brick is hovering over/next to another than it will give you the option to have it automatically fitted to the stud it is hovering over/next to.

There is! Press S and then add the selected brick to that point.
i think he means to every individual stud. Not just the center or other certain areas.
