Remove the logo? And one more thing!

Hi there!

Sorry if this has been asked and answered already, I couldn't find it. So, when exporting into .zmbx, can I somehow remove the little LEGO logo? I'm trying to create a voxel kinda looking character, but made out of lego, animate and render it, but I just need all the little logos remove, because it 1st it's licensed and looks weird in the animation and 2nd, hundreds of mini lego logos in motion start to look like noise / imperfections.
Also, is there any difference in quality, materials etc. when I download the .obj vs the zmbx file? I bought the advanced plugin like years ago, I started using it just now 😄

Thanks for reading and have a great day!!

I know how to manually remove them, obviously, but ya know, would be easier if I could 1 click fix this.

There's an option for Logo on studs when you import into Blender. You'll need to un-tick it there.

Thank You kind sir!

Happy to help... it's a bit confusing since the option is there for other export types.

zmbx is a different format. As it is for Mecabricks only, It is much more optimized than generic formats and only contains what is needed. File contains logo information to be added at build time. Hence with the same file it is possible to have both variation at import time. This is not really possible with obj or dae and they shall be exported with or without.

OBJ is a very old format that doesn't support much in terms of materials or even uv layers. ZMBX and Blender add-on allow to bypass the limitations and build materials carefully crafted over the last 5 years especially for Cycles (and Eevee for Advanced version).

Thanks for the detailed info. I am extremely amazed by this project. I didn't know you're the ONE main person behind it...and I'm super impressed with the materials. I don't understand nodes yet (enough), I'm learning Blender for the past 7 months now...but those materials are amazing and I love them. I even saw you're accepting fans to help out with the modelling and I wanted to help, but...I'm not sure yet, gotta feel more confident in my skills. I also live in a country where LEGO is a veeeery expensive hobby. I'm just...very happy this exist and I REALLY HOPE this project only grows and never dies!
