What does "500 error" mean?

I just tried saving a model, and I got a popup saying "Error (500)." What does this mean? I googled "mecabricks 500 error" and that didn't really turn up anything useful.

[Edit] I probably shouldn't have phrased the title as a question, sorry.

Just try again. Error 500 means server error. It happens sometimes when the server is a bit overloaded.
