<1000 part file being marked as >1000 part file for rendering

Hello,

I have a file that I was trying to make a quick render of. The total part count was 1232 or something similar but a lot of those parts were not important or were not in view so I hid a bunch thinking that that would bring down the number of rendered objects as it used to. Apparently that is no longer the case? I then created a copy of the file and deleted those extra parts so that the total part count, visible or otherwise, was 999. However, I am still not allowed to render with the message being "number of objects limited to 1000"?

Realistically, I do not want to render this scene in the online software, but rather in my version of Blender itself so that I can add custom objects and effects. Unfortunately, my computer cannot handle opening the incomplete 1232-part file. Any secondary tips for this?

Thank you

Hello,

Hiding parts doesn't work anymore since last redesign more than a year ago when animation was introduced - part can be hidden/shown on different frames. However deleting shall do the trick. If you have a public file with the issue, I could look into it.

Ah, thank you for the confirmation on hiding parts, I have no idea how I missed that before! I am going to try a few other things before going with the "make public" option.

Thank you.
