Whenever I try to change the torso color for nebula, it only changes the outline color or the design and not the color of the torso itself. Every other torso before and after that is fine, but for some reason, nebula's just doesn't work right.
Hi, that torso piece is an older part in Mecabricks. Scrubs originally specified non-transparent images for the prints back in the day. The color of the plastic was embedded into the image file that gives the part the decoration. Your brick color is there, it's just hidden under the design, which includes its own "brick color". In more recent parts, Scrubs has specified the use of transparent images which allows the part color to be changed. Here is a comparison of Nebula (uploaded ~2016) vs Cara Dune (uploaded 2021).
I suspect most of the torsos that you've been working with are newer torsos or older ones that have had their image files modified.
There seems to be a bit of transparency in the Nebula torso image where the black lines meet up with the purple, which I suspect may be an artifact of the image processing that MB does to speed things up. Scrubs may be able to pinpoint what is actually happening, but it's not in the original image file as far as I can tell. Regardless, you're seeing your chosen brick color push through in those areas.
Ah, ok. Thank you. That explains a lot!
