It's hard to recommend a book when you haven't read it. 😂

And...

I'm still thinking.

Yeah but if other people suggest it to us...

We need to find a book to read that can be found for free online, because what are the odds everyone will have a copy of the book we choose to read for the month? Also, many TFOL’s probably can’t afford to get new books. (I have $2.75 to my name)

Actually, if we pick a wide-spread book, probably all our libraries will carry it! I nominate Journey To The Center Of The Earth!

Do you have a digital device? We could get books that way.

Yeah, I use something called overdrive to get my books. My library sucks, they have NO good books.

SCVI nominates Journey to the center of the earth
LM707 nominates Alcatraz VS the evil librarians.
what do you other guys nominate.

I nominate Sherlock Holmes. Not the short collection of a few stories, I've already read that. Seriously, Sherlock Holmes is hilarious and amazing and a clever book.

I nominate Foundation by Isacc Asimov. Haven't read it. Heard it is great!

Ooh! I love the work of Doyle! Did you read the “Twisted Lip”? That was one of my favorites!
EDIT: I had to edit because I italicized the name, forgetting that short stories get put into parenthesis.

Doyle was an amazing author. Sherlock is the best. I think we could read that.

@TallGirl2006 introduced the motion, I have seconded it. Shall this be the book of the month for the latter half of July?

I loved the "Twisted Lip"! Neat story twist... pun intended... 😄
My favorite part is trying to figure out the solution. Sometimes I have the right suspicion at the beginning if the story!

My copy of the short stories.

The book I've already read was called "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes", I believe. It was a collection of shorter mysteries, like 'Twisted Lip'.

The one I just posted?

Ah, yes, I didn't refresh. That is the book! Only hardcover, and taller rather than thicker.

Nice leather cover!

My library has many copies, but I’m not sure which is the right one. The Complete Sherlock Holmes?

Thanks! Although I think it’s faux. It really is a beautifully bound copy.

I really like the front and last pages!
