a) then select the part, then select the arrow that points up (usually the y axis) and drag the part up the screen. This is the easier way for simple movements.
b) select the part. Go to the right and press move, then select translations then select the y axis, then type in the number of mm you want the part to move.
I do not recommend option b), especially if your new.
@ miller 01, that is not what we do on this site, go somewhere else fo that kind of thing.
