So I understand that the Mecabricks plugin requires the scene unit scale in Blender to be 0.001 and Length in mm. However, Blender seems to be the worst 3D software that I have ever used when it comes to unit scale between projects. For my example, I am trying to import the Mecabricks minifigure into a real-world scale scene using Blenders default Meters unit scale. Like the Mecabricks plugin, I cannot change the unit of the target scene, because it will ruin the scale of the many textures used in the scene. When I import the Mecabricks zmbx file, it obviously imports ridiculously big, because Blender is completely incapable of respecting file scale units and doesn't convert the size of the minifig to fit the scene scale. As a result, I will probably need to rescale the Mecabricks figure to Meter units which I'm sure will ruin the SSS. I understand that I will need to rescale the material, but was wondering just how many parts of the material that I will have to rescale? I'm sure the SSS scale will need to be changed. As a polite observation of the plugin... it is extremely limiting to insist that the unit scale of the plugin is 0.001.
