How do decoration textures create bump maps on Blender?
primefire94 started this discussion in Help and Tips

Hi, does anyone know how to make custom decoration textures create a bump map on a torso? I'm trying to understand the node setup in blender from the addon, but I'm a little lost as to what's going on here.

What's your end goal?

Hi, so really I want to make it so the decorated portion of an upper-body part has a slight bump like how it does in a real life minifigure. I exported a random upper torso part with a random texture and I replaced it with my own drawn texture, but the bump map seems to be messed up after switching textures.

What is the Mecabricks part number of the torso piece that you exported? Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing? This may be an easy fix, but it would be easier to diagnose if we can see what you're seeing too.
