For those builders out there who focus on spaceships, especially those who create their own design instead of modelling known ships, what scale do you imagine things in? I've been working with a 1x1 brick as equal to 15x15x18 meters, mostly because that's a convenient size for translating them into Minecraft. But that scale presents two problems:

  1. Some things just can't be made small enough - I couldn't make a fighter jet in that scale, for example.
  2. Any time I build something that scales to hundreds of meters, it always still feels tiny to most sci-fi ships.

Just curious what other people's thought process is.
