When I change the position of a part using the "transform" tab and click "apply" it doesn't change that parts position.

When I try to change the position of a part by typing in a new value under the "transform" tab, and then click "apply," it doesn't apply these changes. I can still move the part by manually dragging it though. How do I fix this?
