Parent to Empty

Hello Everybody,
Is there a way that I can parent an object to an empty? I am sure it is possible but am not aware of how to do it.

This assumes you have an object and an Empty already created:
Option A
- Select the object
- Click the Set Parent button (8th one down on the left toolbar)
- Select the Empty
- Profit!
Option B
In the Graph view, drag your object into the Empty. (This also works for Groups.)
