Hi Mecabricks fans, I want to ask if you can add an data texture to a piece in Blender? Because I want to make UV Maps for parts 92013 and 57909v2.
If you can add an data texture in Blender what settings do you to add to the data texture? Because the Mecabricks data files must have some settings e.g chrome strength. You know what I mean. You would really help me out.
I also had another question. The blue texture kind of file you add to a dual-molded part, is it a blue image or something else?
Mecabricks materials in Blender are closely tight to the part configuration. They are built automatically when you import the zmbx file. It would be very complex to assemble them properly manually. Not impossible but you have to understand very well the Mecabricks part system and material design.
I still don't understand. Do you mean there is a complex way to add data textures in Blender or that would have to add a data texture or that I have to use metalness maps, because I find data textures a lot easier.
And I also want to ask that when I make the UV maps if I could send them to you.
