Post anything Ninjago!

YES. Tommy A. even helped with the lyrics 😄

Yes. 😆
Okay... so what do y'all think of this theory about Nya?
I honestly think this is how things should play out...
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!
Jay needs to get depressed, and it needs to ruin everything. Really, he just needs to be extremely down. Personally, I don't think Nya should stay in her nyad form, even though it's awesome... she needs to be able to come back somehow... yet not without a price... plus, I'm actually concerned what they might do with Jay if Nya is no longer an option O_O... but anyways... we all are aware of Kirby's departure, and I think a good number of us agree that having Cole die... AS MUCH AS I HATE THE IDEA... would be the best option... (forgive my obsession with … )... anyways... (I really need to stop doing this … O_o). Okay, so, Cole and Jay have stated over the years that they are best friends, and I think Jay's depression should really impact Cole in particular. In the end I think he should find a way to bring Nya back, yet he has to sacrifice himself for good in the end. I think it would basically kill two birds with one stone (I can't use that expression on here O_O).
😂 yeah,
I think that the ninja should disburse for a while and then get together again like they did in season 3 with the death of Zane. but with Cole out of the mix... he'd be off in shintaro or something. #Don'tKillCole
Indeed, @Greenie.
Or as my brother puts it, knock off two stones with one bird 😉
I guess it feels a little like it's trying to do that though. (I mean, a soul for a soul actually sounds about right, philosophically but...) I just think that that would kinda put Cole in the focus and it's hard to do that without having his old voice.
Not that having another Cole season would be bad. It's just that Kai needs more character development than any other Ninja at this point. Despite being an icon of Ninjago, he hasn't had any true character development since Season 7. (Except for a slight self-conflict in S10.)
Unless, of course, they decide to make Ninjago a kids show again next season in which case save the Kai season for 2024...
I agree with @Fireblade, I think they should just put Cole to one side, rather than "killing him off" as I don't think that would honour Kirby or go with Ninjago's cough "kids show aspect" cough. I think they should just have a single scene with just music of them saying goodbye to Cole (no voice actor required) as he decides to go and live in Shintaro or something.
The only other alternative (besides getting a new voice actor) is to create a "Deepfake?" for Kirby's voice and use that for a temporary measure to find a way to remove Cole from Ninjago.
In fact, I would (almost?) rather have the Ninja undergo a reformation, perhaps adding Skylor and PIXAL while removing Cole and Nya - temporarily anyway. It would give a freshness to the show, give those characters some much-needed character development, and make the show a little more gender-balanced... (Not that it needs to be, but still.)
Next short tomorrow...
Looks like a more traditional cartoon (as in, OG Tom and Jerry, OG Disney, OG Looney Toons, etc).
tbh I'm not looking forward to that episode, it's not really my style. I'll watch it, but I will be insanely impressed if it better than the 2 shorts we've already had. 😄
@TheGecko7: Yeah, I have to agree with you there.
Alright, people. I am going to do as Op did and not check this forum until I’ve watched all of Seabound!
XD yeah that would be prudent
The new short is out, but seriously, don't waste your time on it, it's really childish and not even that good. If you don't watch it, but still want to know what happens then here it is:
@Gecko Ikr
@Gecko... I found it funny...
What I like about it is how accurate it is to cartoons of the time-period it's from. That, the animation, and the fact that you can see how childish Ninjago could be makes it worth a watch - even if you don't end up liking it, you'll at least know what it is. There's nothing bad in it... just a little fart humor...
Yeah, just felt like a "Tom and Jerry" episode to me, occasionally funny, no real story line or plot and just to waste time.
Okay! Theory!!!!
again...
It's obvious season 16 is going to involve Vengestone... and someone is getting a lot of it... I started to think through my mind who it might be, and came to a conclusion... here are some thoughts though...
Nadakan I've kinda ruled out of the picture. The elements don't really seem to be a problem to him, and so, though he used vengestone, it doesn't really fit him. I'd see him going another route.
Garmadon. No. Using it seems out of his character, and could have effects on his own power.
Someone new... that's always an option, yet at the same time... well... I think my next point makes more sense.
Pythor... I totally think he could be an option. He's been gone for... well... 13 seasons and 2 specials... he could have done anything during that time... including working on a massive plan to disarm the Ninja. After all, he said himself in season 4 that if someone would take over Ninjago it would be him. He's not good, and still would do evil. He seems resourceful, and I just feel like it fits him. He's so... classy, and almost business like... yet in a evil way. Working with the blackmarket would really fit his character... plus bring him back for the new era of Ninjago coming in 2022. I feel like Ninjago may shift back more towards it's original feel, which if they did bringing Pythor back could help.
@Greenie... true. And also, snakes again could be important. Let's not rule out the Time Twins tho 😏
EDIT:
But let's be honest. We just saw an evil purple reptilian king with a British accent summon a giant serpent who was subsequently swallowed by aforementioned serpent, which was subsequently destroyed by being hit in her one weak spot on the forehead by a unusual being...
Secondly, here's what we know about next year:
According to Bragi Schut:
"A new writer who is working with us… bringing a nice comedic touch to Ninjago!"
In response to Seabound's finale and Nya's departure, he stated, "You ain't seen nothin' yet!", "Hang in there!", and "there’s more to come. The story is not over." respectively.
According to Tommy Andreasen:
On January 20, 2021, Tommy Andreasen stated, "I have just read the funniest Ninjago script ever! My laughter fills the night - Haaa - Haaa! The rest of you will have to wait until 2022. Sorry!"[i]
"The exact mechanics of Skylor's powers [i]"will become clear and elaborated upon in future story 😉"
The next installment in one word: *"Conclusion." *
Kai's voice actor will have "much love and romance in the year to come."
He predicts this installment "will be the biggest and most ambitious Ninjago chapter yet."
Aliens will appear in the series? "Not on my watch."
So... Kai/Skylor season? 😄
Also, hopefully 30 episodes long with NO filler, or is that too big and ambitious --- OH WAIT
Also also, thoughts on Fugi-Dove being the Vengestone buyer?
Also also also, we ain't seen nothing yet?!!
PS
"Conclusion" doesn't mean the end of the show -- after all, Tommy stated several times he could see it possibly getting to a 20th anniversary and that's not for nothing.
Anyway, sorry if any of you know this already, but it's worth looking it up again.
PPS
The Wu vs. Time Twins short is called Sweatin' to the Goldies (or at least according to the Wiki) and it comes out tomorrow!
Yay, I was right! A Kai season is necessary, TBH. 😂
Besides Jaya (I HAVEN'T SEEN SEASON 15 NO SPOILERS OKAY), Kylor is the original Ninjago ship. And Kai is a fan fave, and honestly needs a season to himself with where his character has been going.
