Soo... I finished watching The Island, and have seen the first 4 episodes of Seabound.

So far... The Island was good, not incredible special, but still good. Kinda rushed, and a bit more cheesy... but it was still a good introduction to Seabound. I did like how Ronan became the bad guy in the end... though I feel like he should have put up a better fight. After all, in Skybound he was able to single handedly capture all the ninja, even ghost Cole.

As far as Seabound goes... Nya is annoying... she's so hard and pushy it get's on my nerves, but I do like how they are presenting it as a struggle. Also, Kai's father loving video games was kinda humorous 😂. Most of the humor in Ninjago is pretty lame... but I mean it's a kids show... so yeah. The story and animation... and music... is really what I'm going for... but I'm starting the chase rabbits. Anyways, I really REALLY like Prince Kalmar... or however you spell his name. He's going to be a great villain. I'm still not sure though... are those snake like creatures Electrocobri, or Serpentine? I'm pretty certain they are some form of Electrocobri... Also, I'm getting a little tired of every Bounty they have getting wrecked within 1 or 2 episodes... but I guess that's what ninja get for using bulky equipment.

Also... random thing... I would love for this season to end with an accented voice saying the phrase, "Your wish is yours to keep". I really think they need to bring back Nadakan, and personally I think they should do it in a Zane season. I feel like having Zane determined to outsmart Nadakan through the entire season would make a great plot twist. Where am I going with this...? I'm not sure 😂

[Separate Seabound in-progress review]
So far Seabound has been the most consistent season since the Oni & Dragon Trilogy. And while I personally dislike Kai (and Ray!)'s immaturity, the story as a whole has been so thoroughly researched that I feel comfortable theorizing with everything from current ages to time-skips. And as for hearing Jillian Micheals (originally Lloyd, right now as Maya) again, it just leaves me so satisfied. While I dislike the Hydro Bounty being destroyed the episode it was introduced, I feel that they will probably rebuild it at some point. (I mean, how else are the Ninja going to get anywhere back to the surface?)

The character consistency and development for this season is interesting. Nya clearly needs to grow in listening to her mother, just as Maya needs to learn how to mother Nya. (As a side note, I love her obsession with cleaning 😂 ) As far as sub-plots go, I think that Jay and Nya's relationship needs to be focused on. I'm currently unsure as to what I think of three of the Ninja's negative opinions towards Zane's honesty; after all, do they want him to lie to them?

For future seasons, I have a feeling (though it might just be a Chudley-Cannons-style optimism) that Kai will be focused on next year. (After all, Wu wants to study the former and current Masters of Fire, right?) However, I agree with the TwentyFourthBlue-YellowFire above, in that Nadakhan needs to return. You can't just tease him in Season 11-13 and then just drop that plot.

Lastly, music-wise I haven't noticed many new themes (but in episodes 3 and 4 there are some cool ones). Instead I've heard Nya's theme, first introduced in Season 5, in every episode (actually starting with the first title card!). If you don't remember, here's a link to the part:

[I would embed it, but I can't do that and put in the time-stamp]
Not that that is bad, but after having listened to the 2:40 hour remastered anniversary music well over 20 times while I was building my contest entry, I just recognize it really quickly.
However, the interesting thing I draw from this is that we're referencing the Season both Wojira-derived elements were introduced. I think it'd be interesting to find out if there is a third Wojira-derived element. (Seeing as the Storm Amulet uses Wind and Lightning, why not the Wave Amulet have Water and something else? Indeed, we've been promised the "last" elemental power in a book coming out later this year...)

Anyway.

Greenie: I haven't been keeping up with Seabound, but I LOVE (with a boldened, capitalized "L") your Nadakan idea SO MUCH! We need that. It would make the perfect Zane season as well!

Zane's used to always having the right answer, the logical answer, knowing exactly how to out-smart his opponent, etc, so having a being outsmart him would be amazing. AMAZING. It already didn't happen. We want it again.

@Op:

Yeah, I agree, that would make for a VERY interesting season!

I agree... great Idea Pyro, we need a Nadakan season with Zane. I also think it interesting, if since the realm crystal was destroyed, Nadakan needs find another method of attack... what method? Nindroids. So just listen for a second, I know Zane already had to deal with Nindroids, but it will all make sense when I'm done speaking.

Nadakan's only other enemy who faced him in Skybound was the nindroids... unless I've forgotten something. He's fought them before, and so knows they have a level of threat to them. If he could find Borg, twist his wishes into eventually turning his own robotic security against himself, and then connivence him to wish it all away, the droids would be at his disposal. Now how you'ed mix the droids with a pirate dinjin? I don't know 😂. They are two very contrasting things, but all the same it's a logical method in my mind. Nadakan can also shift shape, and so if he took on Borg's form he could order more to be made, as well as have influence on PIXEL, which could trigger Zane. However that's just 1 of 1,000 theories, and probably not the best. After all, Zane does love pirates so having pirates return could be fun as well.

Interesting..

“PIXEL”?

😂

Zane does have an affinity toward pirates 😂

Finally found the place where the Elemental Powers are explained!

Hi! Can I join this forum?

Sure, its open for everyone, just so long as you follow the rules! (listed as the first post on this forum)

@TheGecko7: Okay! Thanks!

@Greenie’s first comment on this page: I completely agree with you. SoFS’s was pretty poorly executed. I mean, it’s timeline made absolutely no sense when you think about it, because what happens is is that Zane’s banished to the Never-Realm, the Ninja go into the Never-Realm a few days later, by that time decades have passed. That all makes sense, but then what about the fact that the Ninja manage to get out of the Never-Realm in, maybe a month maximum, and haven’t aged any more than they would’ve in Ninjago? And also the fact that Akita lived in the days before the Ice Emperor’s rule, and yet she’s not decades old?!?

@MASTER: Yeah, it made absolutely NO sense!

Furthermore, it doesn’t make sense that the First Spinjitzu Master didn’t destroy the scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu! I mean, he knew that they were too powerful, so why didn’t he?!

guys i have a trivia

Harumi isn't dead prove me wrong

@BroGamez: I guess we will have to wait and see!

Maybe, but why would they bring her back?

ok it may be early to reveal my reason but should I?

They have already brought her back.

Have you realized that there have been references of her from S10 to S13

S10- A clip of Harumi saying Lloyd in the intro

S11- Lloyd went on a rant on what Harumi did to him when talking to Akita

S12- Lloyd thought Harumi was alive when he battled Avatar Harumi just to find out it was a ploy

S13- Lloyd has suspicions of Vania being evil on the first day and then denying that its because of his experience with Harumi

So it may not be that Harumi is back in the flesh or so to speak alive but she is referred to a ton of times

Ok, so...

@T_M, the reason for Akita not having aged much is that Formlings age differently then humans. (Also, the Ninja spent little to no time in the Never-Realm, and it also may be a similar time-difference thing as the Narnia-Earth time difference. Variable.)

@BroGamez, Harumi is dead (according to creators, the show, and writers), but since she was the best character in Ninjago, of course she will be often referred to.

@Everyone, did none of you look at that lore I found??
