Part 3816 has an error
CustomLEGOBrick started this discussion in Bug Reporting

Hi Mecabricks fans, I think I have found a bug. When I customize part 3816 and press create it saves the piece. But when I want check the piece there is nothing in 3d view. And when I want to render it shows me 'no part to render'.

I just tested it and it works fine for me. Perhaps there's a problem with your internet...

I tried it liked 10 times and always the same thing.
Could you decorated the following pieces for me an submit them to the official library.

The kind of red decorations are data and the rest are color.
Thanks so much.

I'm not an admin so I can't add parts, sorry. Have you tried creating the parts, then reloading the webpage? Sometimes the 3D models lag and don't load in.

Yes I have. Didn't work.

I'm not sure what the issue is then, sorry. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will be able to help; sorry I couldn't help you more.

Not to sure what you mean. There are thousands of these pieces decorated in the library. Please provide a screenshot of the part manager with the data you entered so we can guide you.

Parts have to be in the 3D view to be rendered. So that is normal. Can you take a screenshot of your browser console?

I have been trying to open the browser console in every way but it just won't open. And the part was in 3d view until I pressed create. I think I just try and make the part again and see if it works.

It had something with the data file. It works without it. I have submitted the part for approval.

Try getting rid of the # in the data image file name before you upload it... I just tested this and that's what broke it for me.

Just tried it and it was a success. Thanks for your help @B1Trash, @XForce198 and @Scrubs and sorry for wasting your time. 😃

"...and sorry for wasting your time."

I'm not sure about this. We all learned something here. Happy building!
