The point of this forum is that there is no point. It is pointless. However, many times, pointless things are fun. So the idea is simple. Basically, keep an eye out for wierd weird wierd (this WORD is weird!) things in your everyday life. They might be obvious, like your brother coming down the stairs in sunglasses, overalls, suspenders and a tie at the same time, or less so, like a strange structure in the park that appears to have no obvious function other than to look creepy. Then either post a link to a model where you can try to recreate the weird, or simply describe it in the comments. IMPORTANT To make a Weird an OFFICIAL Weird, you must list the appropriate category before describing the Weird. You may add a sub-category to an actual category, like this: Ex. Weird Someone Else (my sister) or like this: Ex. Weird Me/Baby Me. At the end of every month, I or my secretary will post the honor roll of the weirdest occurrences, and name the "W.E.I.R.D.E.S.T. of the month" to the person with the weirdest- whatever. You know what I mean. (W.E.I.R.D.E.S.T.=Weirdest Existing Individual of Real-life Discoveries Except for Sally Thally.)

Weird me. ***Ex. "Last night I dreamed the weirdest dream about the Bobbsey Twins and a house full of china cabinets..."
Weird someone else. Ex. "Today my brother was singing the weirdest song about gouda..."
Weird us. Ex. "The other day me and my sister tied up the weirdest..."
Weird animals. Ex. "My dog lays on the floor in the weirdest way..."
Weird natural occurrences. Ex. "The weirdest thing happened because of the derecho..."
Weird structures. Ex. "In the park there is the weirdest shiny, gray box..."
Weird facts. Ex. "It's the weirdest thing: goosebumps are actually..."
Weird anything else I forgot. Ex. You fill in here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so how y'all like chapter one of the new book i'm writing?

“Kids in the unknown”

Keyton lied freezing on the hard cracked up dirt, his body felt like an ice sickle, the tips of his ears stung, and his hands stiff as rocks. Looking up at the sky, black as it always was at night, not like the normal dark blue star lit sky, but pure black, without a moon or a single star. Ta suddenly sat up, her long brown hair flying Infront of her in one fluid motion, breathing heavily, as if she had just escaped death. Her eyes shining with fear, mumbling something. Keyton shoot up and as quietly as he could muster ran to her side, holding her shoulders in a firm but soft grip,

“Ta, Ta! Calm down, it’s the blood strike, remember?” He said in a low voice, trying to comfort her, “we’ve all he it tonight.” Letting go. And like flipping a switch, she calmed down, her gentle eyes locking with his,

“Thanks.” She said in a weary voice, letting out a welcoming smile, and the truth was, they like each other, and weren’t afraid to hide it, for nine years now they had been in this unknown land, looking for anything, they were completely alone, which meant they did what they wanted, which wasn’t much, Keyton was sixteen, and Ta was fifteen, they never talked much of the future, but could sense it in each other thoughts. “This one was worse than the last, longer, violent, and the worst part is,” her voice cutting into a fearful one,” I can’t forget all the dead bodies around it, all of them helpless,” a look of horror filled her eyes, but before Keyton could ask any questions, she tried changing the subject, “have you been up all night?”

Keyton shrugged, and sat down beside her, “most of it, I don’t mind though, cause there was no way I was gonna fall asleep after freaky the dream I had…” then he stopped, as if afraid to let out something. Slowly he placed a finger to his lips, signaling to quiet down, Ta looked at him with a questioning look, but understood that where they were, to do as he said. She listened for anything, nothing, but she had an unsettling feeling. Quick as flash, Keyton stood up and reached behind his back as a black katana appeared in his hand, he flung it just inches away from her head hard enough to pull his arm out of socket, Ta looked back to see a black shadow like figure with blood shot eyes starring her down. Kino, she thought, the black demon, she had fought plenty of them in the 15 years of her life, and for Keyton even more, so she wasn’t surprised by it attacking them. Keyton’s Katana was buried to the handle in its forehead, gray blood dripping off the tip of the sword, it fell with a loud shrieking sound, and right as it hit the ground it turned to dust from top down. Keyton stood there, rubbing his shoulder as they others woke up, awaken by the unsettling noise. Ethen sat up with an annoyed look on his face, gray hair flipped around in every direction, he slowly turned his head towards the dead Kino, which was now just a pile of dust with a Katana lying beside it, which was now being eaten up by blue bits of light, as Keyton’s katanas always did, there was something inside of Keyton’s hands that when place behind his back acted like a sword teleporter, they were made by some unbreakable materiel.

“Uh, some sleep would be nice you know, or some brogin.” Ethen said, placing a shirt a dark blue jacket with small packets attached to a strap on, along with a black mask covering his neck and mouth, it kept him freezing anything that was near him.

“How did you sleep shirtless? It’s far too cold, even if you can control ice, or fire in my case,” Quintin asked, and tossed a spear to Hiko, the oldest of the six, (Owen-18, Ethen-15, Keyton-16, Ta-15, Quintin-17, and Hiko-19) he caught it without looking up, a black strip was cloth tied around his eyes, his hair flipped over to one side, covering up part of it. Quintin took his metal bow and reformed it into a long spear about his height,

“Although it’s night, we might as well pack up and go, I don’t feel good with sleeping if there was a Kino in are camp.” Quintin said, Hiko stood up and started walking ahead of team all, then stop, not looking back,

“Oh yeah, by the way, there’s 27 of them watching us right now.” Hiko said calmly.

Wait isn't that self-advertising?!?! jk that was a nice story. Here is my constructive criticism: I think you might have overused descriptions a lot like here: Keyton lied freezing on the hard cracked up dirt, his body felt like an ice sickle, the tips of his ears stung, and his hands stiff as rocks. when you can condense the sentence into something much more manageable like this: Keyton lied freezing on the hard cracked up dirt, his body felt like an ice sickle. And if you do want to keep that level of description it could help to phrase it like this: Keyton lied freezing on the hard cracked up dirt, his body felt like an ice sickle. The tips of his ears stung and his hands felt stiff as rocks. Anyway, you can take it or leave it but there than that(it also pops up other times in the story) there are a couple of grammar errors and whatnot but that's going to happen and it doesn't take away from the main story.
