Hello
I come here for plantssssssss
I actually got some cool plants a week or so ago. I was watching this documentary style movie bout carnivorous plants, and decided it would be cool to get some IRL. I ended up getting some Droseras (sundews), sarracenias (American pitcher plants), nepenthes (Asian pitcher plants), and some Venus flytraps. Maybe I could post some pictures of them tomorrow?
I also found out that they (carnivorous plants) actually use bugs for fertilizer. Look up cobra lily pitcher plant, the system for trapping bugs is super cool. Am I talking too much about these? Sundews curl up around things that have nitrogen in them. I do not talk about succulents, T̴̨̧͓̮̠̮̭͉̮̼̱͎̦͍̜̞͔̰̣͚͖͙͕͖͌͑͠͝ͅͅh̸̟͖̆͗̇̾̋͐̽̓͑̊̈́́͑̇͌͗͝ę̷͉͙̠̤͉̮̠͔͍̩̜̆̈́͆́̔͆̈́̍̓͆̀͐̐́̆̿͐͊̓͐̈́͐̕͠ͅý̵̘̠̟̇̂̋̀̑͆͋̆̒̿͆̈͑͋́́͂̔͊͊̎̽̉̇̀͐̌̕͘̕͝͝͝ ̷̢̧̨̢̢̮̞̟͎̱͇̫̳̻͍͍̳̫̭̫̜͚͓̟͐̽́ͅͅͅd̸̨̢̘̦̮̹̺͖͕̳̖̪̟̤͙̭͇̗͙͉̭̲͎̺̗̥̦͇̯̫̠̭̙̫̠̠͕̔͋͘i̸̡̧̡̩̻̱̫̩̱̝̟̤̙̼͇͍̱͔̟̣̫͇̭̞̫͇̦̩͖͔͊̌̄̍̏̉͛̒̑̓͗͋̐̏̋̄̑̋͐̈́͋͑͂̌̾́͊̀͆̆̈́͒̽̉͐̚̚̚̕͘͝͝ş̵̜͎͎͔̻̝͚̈̏̐̌̾̆̃̋͗̃͒́̇̐͒͛̔͂̌̔̐̋̓͆̅̄̈́̅̇͑͌̈͋̍̉̕͝͝͝͝͝p̵̨͖̭̄̈́̋̆̌͋̀͗̿̐̅͆́̈́͐̈́̔͋̀̀̽̆̌̽̓̿̑͐́̒̎̆̄̚͝ĺ̴̢̢̡̢̡̹̗͍͔̤͈̹̙̺̮̯̬͇͙̟̩̲̰̝̹͖̯̼̥̦̣͈͕͍̲͚̮͍̞̼̠̿̔͆́͂̀̌͐͛̂̽̔̐͐̑̃̊̈́̐̀͆̿̀̎̃́̍́̓̋̕͜͠͠͝͝ͅẽ̴̡̡̢̘̬̖͔͇̣͔͇͎̘̹̳̝͇̞͖͍̭͎̣̘͚͙͖̬̩͊̈́̏̂͋͐̃͑̎͋̀̈́͜͜ͅͅͅa̴̧̧̧̩̜͚̳͍̹̻͓̫̯̳̟̩̫̹̙͔̰̟̱̾͆̉͗͊̐̃̓̈̈́̃̑̊̾̽̏̀͋̍͜͝s̸̡̢̡̧̛̩̳͔̱̹̟͙̦̪͔̟̙͎͓͚͎̣͙̣̪͓͇̞̈́͛̐̉̅̊̽͑̽̒̔̒͛̓́͘̕̚͠͝͠͝ę̷̡̨̨̡̠̘̬͎͕̳͎̰̩̰̱̻͚͈̳̦̪̲̻̘̝͔͈̙͙̹̺͕̣͚̹̳̗̳̮͑̈͊́̽̊̇̒͌̋͌͑̓͜ ̴̛̬̺̠̗͓̰̬̃̑̓̎̊̉͑̾͆͂́̌́̆̍̎͋͒̉̓̏̀̄͋̊͂͛̎́̚̕̕͘͜͠m̴̧̢̛̳͖̻̳̣̟̹̙͈̦̬͍̺͚̫͊͗̃̏̋͒͊̏̑́̀͗͆̅̃͑̑̈́̾͊̽̔͋͆̑̒̉͛͑̎͐̏̅̕̚̕̚̕͘̚͜͝ḙ̴̡̢̛̮͔͖͙͇̤̬͓̝̯͎͚̼̮͎̩̺̮̣̹͇̱̼̮̫̝̤͔̩̩̍̎̃̀̾̓̓̽̓̒̾̒͑̈́͌͑̉̄̐̅̔̿̓̆̔͊͗̀̏͛͗̄̍͑͘̚͘͠͠͝͝ͅͅͅ. Just reply or something for more plant facts i guess
I would not suggest eating these plants though, they are designed to be bitter so they don’t become prey themselves.

Stuff i guess now
ok i have a question about flytraps i have a flytrap near rotten blackberrys that is attracting flys i put it near the berrys no flys went to the flytrap is there a solution if so please tell me.
They probably all got captured.
maybe they all arracted to the berries than the flytrap
Yeah I’d suggest separating the berries from the flytrap is you want the flies in the flytraps. Even though bugs actually only act as fertilizer for the flytraps, it is still important for them to be extracting the nutrients from them. Also, if your flytrap dies after eating something, it didn’t necessarily eat something bad.
Maybe put the blackberries in some compost or something.
ok i try to do it
So did it work yet?
What?
The rotting blackberry idea
Oh that was a long time ago
