You need to install a drawing app which can import and export .png images, it should probably also have layers. You should be able to use the same process as you would on a computer if you do this. Unless you have an Apple Pencil or any other drawing tool, it will probably be quite fiddly; I would recommend using a computer instead if you have access to one.
