What software can I use to make my own textures?
Hunari started this discussion in Help and Tips

Cause I've tried using Photopea, can't figure things out and it's upsetting me more than anything else

So, since I'm a retard, does anyone knows a simple-to-use software I could use?

In the free to use category, two of the more popular options are GIMP and Inkscape. The main difference is that with GIMP you are manipulating pixels and with Inkscape you are manipulating shapes. I use both, but for drawing icons and minifigure decorations I prefer to use Inkscape.

To learn to use Inkscape (or GIMP), I'd suggest you check out Logos by Nick on YouTube. He is an excellent teacher.

Here is a link to his Inkscape Beginner Tutorials playlist:

To get your image to upload to Mecabricks you'll need to save it as a PNG file. Here's his video on that.

Thank you very much!

Happy to help!
