Maximum number of objects allowed 1000

So I have come across this error and for the life of me can't figure out what is wrong, it's not allowing me to render, I have checked parts and there are 500 .

Any ideas?

Maybe check for duplicates? Use the selection tool (W) and choose duplicates and delete if you have any.
