FB: The world is a strange and unfamiliar place right now . . .
DrP: No, I didn’t see it. I don’t really seek out games, but if my dad watches them, I do. : D
@0p, what should we do for the next weekly challenge? we could do some micro scale builds
Fireblade, did you live by Manchester?
I feel like I don't build anything on mecabricks because I have just plain run outa ideas.
I feel like nothing inspires me, or everything seems boring.
Op, we won 5-zip
FB: I've written down a few keywords, I think I might roll dice or something. 😂
DrP: Maybe participate in the weekly challenges, that could spark some creativity.
WAIT
I MISSED THE WEEKLY CHALLENGE?
...
._.
MB: No, it's gonna go until it's not Monday Sunday, August 29th, anywhere in the world.
@Fireblade, Frankly, things could be far better.
True.
My family's quite well known in our library system, I think we have about six different accounts in our family and the amount of books we check out is ridiculous. 😂 Mum says we must be the people keeping them in business during lockdown 😂
@Dragon You guys live out in the country, so it's probably not that bad for you right? I mean, by Australia standards...
Hey, would y'all mind praying for my mom. She's stuck in terrible traffic while driving through Louisiana, and that cat 4 hurricane is about to strike west of her. She is either going to have to get out quickly, or find somewhere to stay.
Right, will do : - 1
Thanks
Okay, so she made it home at like 3:00Am. The traffic was terrible...
Greenie: 😅 I'm so glad she's okay!
Yee, same here! 😄
She's extremely tired... but fine. Traffic was so bad people were literally jumping out of their cars and holding up sheets so people could use the bathroom on the side of the road O_O. It was nuts...
Greenie: Woah, I'm glad she made it okay.
@Greenie, Yay! I'm glad she made it : - )
2 things:
Dragon, You'r a countryboyredneckraisedtrucks22.cals too?
Op I feel that the weekly challenges are kinda lame.
no offense but kinda boring for my taste.
Hi! There's a thunderstorm here (thunder as I'm typing this).
Also, random question: I expect with all the hurricanes happening from time to time, it's extremely costly to rebuild all the towns damaged by the storms only for them to be torn down again when the next storm happens. Is that true, or am I missing something?
@Cakery Sorta, sorta not. It would be more costly to not have everything repaired, and a huge blow to the economy since a lot fo these cities have major businesses located in them. There are other factors too, but overall hurricanes don't happen enough for there to be a real logical reason to relocate or anything like that.
