Cake: Try turning samples up to 200 (the highest you can go without using credits), using a denoiser (I think it's on by default, but you should make sure it is), and using depth of field on your camera. DoF will make the areas of the image not focused on by the camera blurry, but it will make the focused area very, very clear.
