Pieces decorations with metallic appearance in blender 2.79

I am still using blender 2.79 and I want to apply the metallic effect to some object decorations but just in a specific place. (like if we had a decoration with a bunny and a mouse and we just wanted the mouse to be metallic). Does anyone knows how to do this???
