I'm trying to render, and keep getting error E1034 that the render farm is closed? I have no idea what that means. But after trying multiple times throughout the day it's now telling me I've used all my free renders? Nothing is showing in the projects tab so I definitely haven't gotten any renders done.
It means exactly what the message says: It is currently closed!
I spent the morning troubleshooting one of the servers and among other maintenance tasks, I replaced a dead power supply and RAM module.
It is not because you render stuff for free that it is actually free.
What I'm saying is that even when it comes back up, I won't be able to render anything. It ate my credits like a broken vending machine. It seems pretty counterintuitive to have it use render credits if no service is actually completed.
I believe that you are mixing free renders and actual Mecabricks credits.
Your issue doesn't impact people rendering with credits - which they bought with real money. What you describe is a bug with the free render counter.
It may be fixed at some point. This kind of maintenance is only happening a few times per year and therefore, you can understand that it is not a priority. I am sure that you can wait 24 hours to get free renders again. Alternatively, you are welcome to help Mecabricks by buying credits. It unlocks any limitations.
I just spent the equivalent of USD$250 today from my own pocket to fix and maintain the hardware.
