Is there a way to un-follow a forum discussion? I requested a piece under the missing parts discussion and now I'm constantly getting notifications about the topic even though I posted in it in early June.

No there no such option yet, i also wish there was. 😃
Yeah this is very annoying, sadly there is no way to fix this currently.
Yeah there isn't, just ignore the ones that you don't want to answer anymore.
