Mecabricks lacks ability to decorate models (ships especially) with textile sheets. Making sails currently is a nightmare 😛 On the other hand we have strings with nodes that allow for flexibility.
I cannot find similiar post (with concept included) so I hope it's not spam 😛
Simple squared material with two independent handles at each corner should not be mathematically much more difficult than strings (at simplest - it could be many single string side-by-side with interpolated values).
For clarity - here is simulation of what I mean. It contains plain square, same square formed in shape of rectangular sail and same square formed as triangular sail.
Seems reasonable. 😉 I’m sorry nothing changed. 😕
