I follow the instructions inside the folder downloaded, and yet after I click "install", the checkbox doesn't show up.
I can second this. With the latest blender and latest plugin, the install doesn't give the plugin in the list. I've tried running in admin mode as well, didn't change anything, even after restarts. Perhaps collision between different versions? If yes, give a hint please?
According to the latest revision(2.1.7 for advanced and 3.1.4 for lite) in the change log the add on supports Blender 2.90, don't expect it to work perfectly in newer versions of blender.
