How to Rotate a Minifig Hand
OrganicLegoBotanic started this discussion in General Discussion

Hi

I can't seem to rotate a minifig hand without the long back coming out of the arm. The pivot point is at the hand base but for it to stop coming out of the arm it feels as though it needs to be at the back of the insert. Any ideas.

Thanks

Make sure your Transform Orientations are set to Local and not Global? Shortcut key (M) to switch between them.

No, sadly the origin seems to be based on the hand/fingers bit, i.e. it pivots around the handle of any object it would be 'holding', rather than pivoting at the wrist section that clips inside the arm, which is at a different angle to the hand.
