Hi, while modelling my orrery today I ran into a problem with venus.
Venus has a day length of 243 days and a year length of 225 days, so it rotates on its axis less than once for each orbit of the sun. It is also unusual in that it rotates on its axis clockwise while orbiting anticlockwise. I couldn't get this to work in the animation nodes? I set up the planet rotation for 243 days, clockwise and the orbit for 225 anticlockwise. If I reduce the planet rotation to less than the orbit value it works, or if I set the direction to anticlockwise. I thought the axes worked independently of each other so it should work right? Maybe I went about it the wrong way. Here's the model:
