How to snap "Beams-Half" to correct location?

Hi Scrubs, when I tried to snap "Beams-Half" component to any other component, it always miss align with the correct location by half a grid. Could you teach me how to use it? Thanks.

This is easily solved by typing 'T', (axis), '2', <ENTER>. (Translate 2 units.) The half beam is then able to be translated with normal alignment.

Yes these half beams are somehow out of the grid system. T+Z+2 will do the trick.
