Camera settings moved to design tab?

I noticed the camera settings are no longer available in the rendering tab but are now only available in the design tab. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me because the camera is part of rendering so I'm constantly going to the render tab to render, then I realize I have to go back to the design tab to change the camera position/settings. This can be a drag to have to switch back and forth. Would it be possible to add those settings back into the render tab?

Nope. Camera are not (or won't) just for rendering. They are an object like any others. What can't you do that could before? You have the preview right in design mode to set it up.

Hmm, I suppose it will take some getting used to then. To be clear, the main problem was setting the camera position in object mode, then going to render mode to change the aspect ratio (e.g. to 800x800) then going back to object mode again to zoom in on the object with the camera. A simple "lock camera to view" button in render mode would do the trick. But I'll get used to it. It's probably less of an issue with a fast computer.
