Hi, if I export your Model into Blender using your advanced exporter, and want to change the colour of your print how is that possible? I currently download as collada to take the print, edit the colour and then try changing the image used in Shading tab after importing zmbx file in Blender but there is no picture available to change? It only shows decorations as a material file.
Hi, did you figure it out?
No but thank you!
I would recommend creating your custom decorations in mecabricks. Modifying manually the shader in Blender may not yield the expected results unless you understand how the materials are built.
Cheers Scrubs. How do you do that?

Depending on the level of complexity you need for your modifications, you can import the zmbx. file into the blend. file, go to the Rendering tab, select Paint instead of View, and select the texture you want to modify from the dropdown browser, then use the texture painting tools (such as Fill) to modify the texture. Because the texture is already mapped to the asset, it will update automatically in real time. Unfortunately, the Blender texture painting tools are not that sophisticated, so if you want to make an entirely new and unique texture, you're better off just making a new part in Mecabricks.
I know, that it sounds like a silly question, but can I open the textures in Paint?
I just don't have any other drawing software....
I tried to open it in Paint but it says that 'Paint cannot read this file'. I have not extracted the file from the .zip format yet.
I'm sorry, if I have any grammar or spelling mistakes, English is just not my native language.
Purist Art's tutorial was very useful, thank you! 😃
The piece, that I'm trying to open, is 94638 - Wall Element 1X2X2
I think there's a problem. I can't choose the material for my custom piece.

Sorry, the picture is small.
@Avatar, have you entered a configuration number? And yes, the image is very small so to help you a larger image would be good!
I fixed the problem. I just needed to collapse the left section.
