I made an official LEGO book using Mecabricks :)

Hello! For the last year and a bit I've been making stuff for LEGO using this incredible resource built by Scrubs and the many talented members of the Mecabricks community. My first book, LEGO Small Parts: The Secret Life of Minifigures came out at earlier this month (https://www.amazon.com/dp/1452182256/).

LEGO were really blown away with the quality of the build and render from Mecabricks. The attention to detail by Scrubs and those who submits parts, decorations and sets is so good that they would often feedback that they couldn't believe that what I gave them was built and rendered in 3D and not a photo of a build.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has contributed to Mecabricks over the years and helped to make this special resource for other LEGO fans. It's been a pleasure to work with Mecabricks and it's enabled me to source and build parts and models that would be impossible if I was photographing real bricks! For the next part of my work with LEGO, they would like me to work with more of the LEGO collectible minifigure series. I've made a post/request for help in the Parts and Decorations Design forum (https://www.mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/2012) inviting any models/decorators to add missing minifig parts for a chance for them to be included in the next book.

Cheers!
