Glowing Bricks?

Is it possible make individual bricks glow without the light tool? I've used the emission tool, but the lights on my car are transparent and so are the windows, so the windows glow too. Is the only solution to make the lights or windows different colours?

You can add lamps in the workshop (L-key or click the Lamps button in the left menu). I'm not into rendering but i'm sure you can get some help with the settings if you need from other users!
