Hey so sorry if there's a topic already for this, couldn't find it. I am having issues with the Mecabricks high rez Minifigure pack in Blender.
When I import a minifig from the MB workshop and select local parts to use from the high rez folder, the import works, but it seems the UV maps are off because I'm getting these weird huge bump lines all over the models. I'm not sure how to add an image here to show. I have the latest update for both MB Advanced and The High Rez figure.
Hopefully, someone can help.
Thanks
Hello, could you give me an example of element that has the issue? I will export it and check that.
You can use imgur.com to upload a picture and then copy and paste the bbcode here in your post.
It's every element in the High Rez Minifigure pack. So the arms, legs, hips, torso, head, hands. I just used a basic minifig exported from the workshop as a test.
Here is a link to an image that shows the issue: https://imgur.com/a/240lTCU
Thanks
I think that is only with eevee. as its the eevee normal map that is generated, so you can see the bevels. And the hr minifig pack doesnt have the same uvs the normal parts have for the normal map!
Citrine is correct. Cycles works fine. Thanks!
@Owenator13 Yes, I could figure this out from your screenshot. It tries to apply the baked normal map with the bevels when it shall be ignored. I will try to find a fix for Eevee at some stage. Leave me a bit of time to think about it though as it is not just straight forward.
ahhh I was right haha. youve gotta give me props.
gives props
I'm having trouble getting the high resolution minifigure elements to appear when I import models from the studio. I have the path set for the high rez parts, but when I import a fig it's the standard part models: https://imgur.com/v06xYWz
when importing make sure to click 'local parts' on the right panel if you havnt
aha! That's what I was missing. Thanks!

I was wondering what that weird design on the elbow was... 😆 But I always render in Cycles anyways, so it's not a big deal for me. I only use Eevee when working with MecaFace and when lighting.
