Should be very nice if the textiles parts like (Sails, Capes and Skirts...) be flexible!
Technically really really complicated. Even if I'd love to have it it is unlikely to come soon.
Okay, I wait ! 😉
Hi, I'm quite limited too for this model : https://mecabricks.com/fr/models/1k2qNb06jE0 . Textile are not flexible, and don't have customisable printing. For example, how to have black sails to render a Black Pearl ? How to have Imperial flagship sails ? They have different torsion and printing.
The complexity comes from surface vs linera flexibility ? I think that sails requires only one node per hole for the flexible tool.
I can't render my model using these sails 😦
Hi there,
a similar question/suggestion:
Instead of being able to bend existing (quite comple😆 parts, would it be possible (and much easier) to just have a "flat" (or very thin) object, made of 3 or 4 (or more) edges?
I built a model that I would like to put some foil/fabric around. I know it's not an official LEGO© brick but maybe common in real life and helpful for rendering.
Best
Oliver
