Can my renders stop getting deleted?

This annoying problem has been going on for a couple months now, and it's seriously annoying. Every single time I post a render, it gets deleted after around a few hours. Back in January, I made a model of a really tall build, the next day I saw the render was gone. The next month I post another model. Again, the render of it was deleted. I re-posted the render just for it to be deleted again! Sure, if it's not made with Mecabricks it gets deleted, but my render ARE made with Mecabricks. I don't even use Blender, so I don't see why my renders would be deleted. This may be a bug, but I doubt it, I don't see it happening to anyone else. Anyway, I've heard admins like @Scrubs delete renders when there is something wrong with them, but like I said before, my renders are completely fine. I hope this will stop.

No they are not otherwise they would not be deleted. Please read this thread carefully.

I just read it. I'm assuming my "Very Tall" build render was deleted for having a mini-figure being pointlessly there?

I'm having the same problem with WannaBeBricks and I don't thinks it's due to the height of the build. I render just minifigures using mecabricks and upload them on MY account. And then the next day they just vanish even though they perfectly abide by the rules. Please fix this it's really annoying.

@Tajehunter... as an start, the images I saw on your profile are 960x540. I'm not the guy that goes and deletes things, but I'm pretty sure it's a clean kill with an image pixel count 1/4 the size of the recommended starting point.

Image resolution shall be high enough to avoid resizing degradation when displayed in Mecabricks. 1920x1080 is a good starting point.

In order to get an image with this resolution, you'll need to either buy Mecabricks render credits or use a different 3D rendering program apart from Mecabricks. Blender is free and there are thousands of tutorials on YouTube on how to use it.

I'm sorry your stuff is getting deleted, but I'd take a look at the link in Scrubs' post above. It clearly outlines his intent and requirements for the rendering section. Remember that the images you upload to the render section on your account go onto the servers that he pays for. This is his site and has the right to set the rules. He did leave a way for you to post renders on your model page if you want to use the free render option in MB. You can upload those images to another site like Flickr or imgur and use his example code to insert the pic into the description or a comment on your model. If the images are hosted elsewhere then he's not footing the bill for it.

Next up, I'd work on composition and lighting...
Image shall bring something special to the 3D model.
Image shall not depict minifigures only unless there is something special that shall be explained. Adding a couple of bricks in the background is not considered a waiver.

These two rules are subjective and I'm not the judge. But take a look through the renders/movies/posters that are out there and think about the ones that stand out to you... what makes them special? Use those as inspiration for your works. What story or message are you trying to convey? How can composition and lighting help get that across? Use every piece as a way to learn and improve on the last one. Good luck and keep at it.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
