Copying parts from one file to another
Flippedpancakes started this discussion in Help and Tips

Hi!
I'm working on a model and trying out a lot of techniques, but because I like to come back to old solutions when I'm stuck I have dozens of prototypes in one file. This makes it easy to compare stuff, but it also makes the workshop cluttered and my computer seems to have developed a lag because of it. It seemed like a good idea to create an extra file so I can work on separate ideas without all the clutter and lag, but Mecabricks doesn't seem to support copy-pasting parts from one file into another. Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance for your time!

Use the import function to import the content of a file in the open model.

This was very helpful.

I would like to know how to pan on a design on an iPad. I am working on a military base.

Use 3 fingers to pan in the workshop.

Thankyou

What and Where is the Import function?
