In the LEGO Minifigures section in the workshop, the world hair is spelled hairs.

it's plural, like heads, parts...
Yeah, but I don't think that it is proper grammar to put an S on the end of the word hair, when referring to LEGO hair pieces at least...
but there is multiple sets of hair. Therefor hairs
