Is it possible to scale down the Lego models from MecaBricks on Blender and still use it normaly?

I'm trying to create an Lego animation on Blender, and to create the models and scenarios I am using the MecaBricks Workshop.
So, I noticed MecaBricks models whe exported to blender are enourmous and this is getting me on a real hard time during rendering. I'm using Cycles render at my projects and even on really simple scenes rendering takes a very long time and sometimes even freezes my computer resulting on a crash or getting back to normal when finished (my computer is a i5-8400 and a GTX 1060 6G😎. I tried to scalling down a rig with a minifigure to test if went ok and things are normal.
