Smaller Snap

Is there a way to make the snap smaller? I think the default is 1/2, but is there a way to make it smaller for more precise movement?

Yes, you have to change the size of the grid. You can do this in the upper menu where it says "Medium". Change it to small and you will have 40 steps per stud. You can also turn it off to have full free movement by unchecking the box. Shortcut to switch between small, medium and large steps is the Q key.

Thank you, but is there also a way to make more precise rotations?

Yes, you can either change to the transform tab on the right side of the workshop, here you can enter rotation values for all three axis. The rotation is also effected by the grid size if you use the mouse gizmo for rotation. To toggle between move and rotation gizmo just press M key or click on the gizmo icons in the top menu next to "Local/Global" setting.
