Traceback error importing .zmbx files to Blender 2.81
Duck1986 started this discussion in Bug Reporting

Hi apologies if this is being asked elsewhere... I did look and spotted similar but not quite the same errors being mentioned!

I'm using Blender 2.81 but when I try to install .zmbx files it comes up with the following error.... At the moment I'm using the standard Blender addon whislt trying to learn the basics of Blender but would like to try the advanced once I know what it's capable of! Watching a video it says about ticking the "bevels" checkbox while importing - but it doesn't show up as an option on my screen.

Apologies if I'm being really silly and doing something wrong! Loving Mecabricks otherwise!

Just to add (sorry, not sure how to edit!) that I've tried updating to the latest release of Mecabricks Lite and am still getting the error 😦

Hello.
The error message that you copied is generated by the old add-on. Uninstall the addon using the Blender interface. It will delete all files. Then download and install the latest version.
The lite version doesn’t have the bevel features.

Hi Scrubs,

I've uninstalled both and reinstalled just the new version, but I'm still getting the below error sorry? I tried it with a new figure created in the workshop today to exclude it being an old model causing the problem?

Are you sure that you use the released version of Blender 2.81 downloaded from blender.org?
The color space values that you have do not match what is normally available. I believe that you use an old external version of Filmic.

Thanks Scrubs, i uninstalled and reinstallled blender and that fixed it. I think i'd installed Filmic in aan incorrect way when I first got Blender and didnt understand it! All good now 😃
