Import to Blender does not work

I have converted some models to zmbx files and tried to import them. However there is an error with blender and the files cant be imported. Now if I try it with files that have been converted to zmbx a few days/ a week ago it works. I also reinstalled the addon.

Would be cool if someone could let me know how to sort it out

This question has been addressed before.
You must download and install the latest version of the add-on to make it work with the latest version of the workshop.
However once installed you won't be able to import old zmbx generated before the update.
