The workshop loads and I believe that the model is loading too, but the model is invisible, as well as the grid.

@brickeducation You have a proper NVidia graphic card. I bet that you run your browser on the Intel integrated card. You shall really set up windows to run on the NVidia GTX 1050 and you won't be affected by the issue any more. It will also run much faster!

Right click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
Select your browser e.g. Chrome on the example below and select the NVidia card instead of the integrated one.

GREAT!!

SOLVED!!

Many thanks Scrubs!

Interesting. What about my GPU? Does that work in the same way? (I would try, but I don't want to mess anything up, plus I just had to remove some freaking virus crud from my computer, and it is so slow).

Same here, it's a black screen. How do you clear browser cache?

To clear your browser cache (assuming you use google chrome on a windows 10), you click the three dots in the top-right corner of the Google Chrome browser. This will open up a drop-down tab that has things such as "New Tab, History, Downloads, Zoom, Print, Cast, etc...) Click on "History, and then click the top-most sub-tab, which also says history. Or, you can just press the "Control" and "H" keys at the same time. This will take you to a new screen, and near the top left side there will be some clickable font that says stuff like "Chrome History", "Tabs from other devices", and "Clear Browsing Data". Click on "Clear Browsing Data", and then click "Advanced", and then switch the time that you would like to clear your cache to "All Time", and then check every single box that there is to check. 😄

And that is how you do it.

Thank you!

👍 Hope it helped! 😄

Excuse. I think this problem has not yet been solved for AMD Radeon, Windows 10 1607, Dell. When I enter the workshop, it still gives me this look. Are there any ideas on how to solve this problem for AMD?

You would be the first one having issues with an AMD GPU. I do not say that it is impossible but it seems to be weird. If you have an integrated GPU ad well in your laptop, follow the procedure above to make sure the AMD one is used by your browser.

I don't have an NVIDIA, I only have AMD, and I guess it's toast because so much things don't work on AMD (my PC can work normally with 3D software though).
Tried pressing F12. It gave me 8 times Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.
I even tried to turn on WebGL compute, but it only showed up for mere moments and disappeared again.
Guess this is everything I could tell about my circumstances.

I updated my driver tonight and have the nvidia control panel you depicted. However, I do not have the device option yours depicts. I would offer a screenshot, but I don't know how to add images here.

Any other suggestions??

You could check for a software update for your computer, or check to see if your graphics driver needs to be updated. You could have updated the wrong driver (a small chance).

And if you have a dual-GPU computer, then you'd have to update both drivers.

I'm running an old Dell Laptop (Vostro 2510) with Windows 7. I'm perfectly certain that I have the latest correct driver for video. I'm also certain that the video does not have a dual-GPU and that it is the only graphics card in the system - which would explain why the preferred graphics processor option is not present. There is no option, there's only one.

Hope this helps: Chrome console content...

No much I can do. I believe that you have an integrated intel GPU? It looks like it is a very old laptop.

sigh ... it is..

Those running on integrated graphics, like myself, may have to get a newer GPU driver directly from Intel instead of your manufacturer.

I downloaded the latest GPU driver for the integrated graphics on my old, old laptop straight from nvidia.
