I was wondering about that too.

Go into the lighting tab in the render section and find the emission settings. Select the colour of the part you want to glow, then press add. You can play around with the settings until you get the effect you want. This only works for transparent, glitter and milky parts, and it affects all the parts of that colour in your model.
