Pan using touch pad
Perttu started this discussion in Suggestions and Ideas

These days mouse starts to be a relic of some kind. How ever there is no way of using workshop with touch pad.
My suggestion is to replace Space bar functionality with Pan. I would assume camera view orientation is secondary feature for all if compared to pan.

I am not too sure I understand. The workshop is fully functional with touchscreens or trackpads. Slide 3 fingers to pan.

Ok. Thanks for the info!

Then it must be because I'm using three fingers as drag gesture on my Mac.
-Not giving up on that though... 😕

Also I'm using a lot of drawing applications on my Mac, and there the Pan is actually two fingers, which causes mishaps.

The workshop touch controls are still based on an older version of my code.
On the other hand, the Mecabricks player is using a newer version: one finger for rotating and two fingers for panning and zooming.

Ok. Solved it. It works fine for me too 😃

Pan just needs CLICK and drag with two fingers.
Compared to two finger drag that results as zoom.

Thanks for the great tool!
