CPU or GPU with Blender and MB

Hi everybody,

I´m looking for someone who has experience with Blender in combination by using the Mecabricks Models. Let me try to explain my situation. I want to build a small cityscape by using 5-8 models of different house types. I have an HP workstation with an Xeon e5 processor, 128gb Ram and a GTX 960. It´s pretty crucial working with this maschine using a high poly house e.g. the Ghostbusters HQ. Lightning and Rendering a single house takes a lot time. Now I´m considering buying me either and new computer e.g. intel 9900k with rtx 2080 ti and 64 gb Ram or upgrading my current maschine with two rtx 2080 ti's. Pricing for both options are pretty the same. My mainfocus is to work fast in the rendered viewport using cycles. What do you thing is the better choice. Does someone had have a similiar situation? Thanks a lot for helping, especially to Scrubs with his incredible passion to Mecabricks.!!

I would just upgrade your current set up with a RTX 2080 Ti. From my knowledge, the Blender viewport doesn't support multiple GPUs. Only at render time.

Ok thank you very much, scrubs. This is a really helpfull tip!

thx
