Would it be possible to give parts that consists of more than one color (for example: 23947, 35660, 16178, 93094) without actually being neccessarily colored by decorations (here: visor, hair, hair, lipstick element) a similar behaviour like LDD does, so those sub-elements could be colored without using official TLG decorations? For example, if one wants to use 23947, but with different helmet/visor colors, or 93094 with transparent elements for lamps, it's not possible right now in MB sadly. I know these parts consist of one mesh only, but could it be possible to get it to work in the workshop (maybe by UV implementation)?
There are many, many more parts than I've listed above, so it isn't related to a few parts only, therefore my request.

Alright, thanks for the answer; maybe it can be implemented once #12 of your 2019 roadmap will be established (if so, of course).
